"Cross-bearer" engages with historical iconography to highlight contemporary human suffering. In our era, self-realization has become a form of martyrdom. Stripped of genuine ideals, we now worship artificial identities as our modern icons.

Haunted by unattainable self-images, we pursue the spotlight with desperate longing—to be seen, admired, and reflected. Our burden remains. We have no choice but to bear it.
